Q: How can Positive Property help me?
A: Our aim is to help you switch from renting to home ownership. We do this by assessing your financial situation and customising recommendations to suit your needs. This may be by using a traditional loan or by using The Positive Property System.
Q: What is the Positive Property Equity Option?
A: We will purchase the house of your choice on your behalf. You move in and enter into a contract with Positive Property, which enables you to purchase your home at a set time and price.
Q: How much can I spend on a home?
A: One of our representatives will sit down with you and determine a workable budget to suit you. From this we will be able to tell you the amount that can be used to purchase your new home.
Q: Can I choose my own home?
A: Yes, once we have helped you with a budget and determined your maximum purchase price you can start to look for the home of your choice. When you have found the castle on the hill, Positive Property will even negotiate for you to chisel out the best deal on your behalf.
Q: What are my fortnightly payments?
A: Taking into account your current income and expenses, we aim to ensure that your payments are affordable. Often your current rental payments are used as a guide.
Q: Do I need a deposit?
A: Whilst Positive Property does not require a deposit as such, we do require "Move in Money". As Positive Property is investing a large amount of money on your behalf, naturally we would require a committment from you to show that you are serious about owning your home. This amount helps to cover costs incurred by Positive Property in securing a house and finance on your behalf, "Move in Money" is fully deducted from the end purchase price.
Q: Can I make improvements to the house?
A: Yes you can make cosmetic or structural changes to the house, as long as they comply with building and planning laws. These help create equity in the home from which you benefit.
Q: Can I pay extra?
A: Yes, extra payments will help build up potential equity faster.
Q: Can I refinance?
A: Yes you can refinance at any time. In fact when your equity potential has achieved a given level Positive Property will help you restructure so that you can benefit from other wealth creation opportunities.
